Jude Bellingham recently launched a YouTube channel, where he shared a video reflecting on his first year at Real Madrid. It was a memorable year, filled with mostly highs and a few lows. However, off the football pitch, there were some things Jude didn’t do that led his brother, Jobe, to call him out.

Jude launched a series called Out of the Floodlights, focusing on his life in Madrid and what he does off the pitch, while also highlighting key matches and moments. The first episode — titled Casa Blanca — released on September 12, garnered over 500k views in less than a day.

At one point in the video, Jobe—who plays for Sunderland—jokingly revealed that Jude still doesn’t know how to cook or drive.

“Maybe if Jude could learn how to cook and drive, Mum could come back and live with me,” the 18-year-old said. “But nah, he’s useless. I’ll have to make do.”

Jude Bellingham’s start to life in Spain was mesmerizing, quickly making him an early candidate for the Ballon d’Or. However, both his parents couldn’t stay with him in Madrid, as they had to care for his younger brother Jobe in the UK.

The videos for Out of the Floodlights were filmed a year ago, and during that time, Jude likely became more accustomed to managing things on his own, allowing his mum to spend more time with Jobe.

Like Jude, Jobe made a significant move last summer, though not quite on the same scale as joining the 15-time European champions. He left Birmingham City to join Sunderland, an exciting young squad in the Championship aiming for promotion to the Premier League.

Though Sunderland fell short of promotion last season, Jobe remains at the Stadium of Light, where his team has started the current campaign in perfect form, winning four out of four.

Meanwhile, Jude has had a quieter start to his second season at Real Madrid due to an injury, but he is expected to make his comeback by the last week of October.
