Hayley Raso left Real Madrid Femenino ahead of the 2024/25 season to return to the WSL, joining Tottenham. During a match against Liverpool, she made it clear that while she had left Las Blancas, the club hadn’t left her.
While sitting on the sidelines and adjusting her socks, cameras caught a glimpse of her shin guards, which featured Real Madrid branding.

Madridistas quickly noticed and were thrilled to see that Raso still held her one-year stint in the Spanish capital close to her heart. Even Real Madrid captain Olga Carmona took to X (formerly Twitter) to highlight the moment, using the three monkey emojis to express her feelings.

Raso spent just one season in Madrid, joining with high expectations after playing for Manchester City the previous year. However, her time at the Alfredo Di Stéfano Stadium was somewhat underwhelming, as she scored only four goals across all competitions.
Now back in England with Tottenham, Raso faced Liverpool on Sunday, but unfortunately, the North London club lost 3-2. Tottenham is currently seventh in the WSL, with a win, a draw, and a loss.
