Earlier this week, Cesc Fabregas officially became the coach of newly promoted Serie A side Como. This move was a long time in the making, with Fabregas joining the Italian club in 2023 as caretaker, and then an assistant to Osian Roberts.
With Roberts and Fabregas, Como secured promotion back to Serie A and are now looking to add star-signings – including Raphael Varane – to the squad.
Fabregas spent the previous season as a caretaker only because he was yet to obtain his UEFA coaching license. Now that he has, Roberts will assume a new role within the club.
